Biography
Cecilia Amina Mueller-Stahl, born in Berlin, was raised in the Southern German city Freiburg im Breisgau. Already as a child, she discovered her talent for comedy and entertainment. After participating in the school theater for several years, she was sure that she wanted to become an actress. During and after her acting training at the Vienna Conservatory, Cecilia played on numerous local stages, among them the Schauspielhaus Wien and the Theater in der Josefstadt. Till date, Cecilia's favorite role on stage is the Rosaline in AS YOU LIKE IT .
With appearances in TV series such as TATORT and SOKO Stuttgart, Hafiz also started her career on screen. She appeared together with Heino Ferch in the TV film KEINE EHE OHNE PAUSE (lit. “No Marriage Without a Break”), played the main part in an episode of WASSERSCHUTZPOLIZEI BODENSEE, and can be seen in the US-American short WAR OF THE CULTURES.
Cecilia has a nag for strong female characters with a sense of humor and a big heart, and particularly enjoys singing. Currently, she is working on a musical stage production together with a colleague.
Cecilia appeared on stage in DIE VIER HIMMELSRICHTUNGEN (lit. “The Four Cardinal Points”) at the Gallus Theater in Frankfurt, and toured with DIE NSU-MONOLOGE (lit. “The NSU Monologues”), a production of Bühne für Menschenrechte (lit. “Stage for Human Rights), as Adele Simsek. After a highly successful guest appearance at the Prime Time Theater in Berlin in 2017, she joined the ensemble as a regular member in 2018/2019 for the iconic series play GUTES WEDDING, SCHLECHTES WEDDING.
